If you do not receive any map tiles it might be because of the servers are down. You can find information about the current status and planned maintenence here:

The map is updated continously by Kartverket. You will always get the latest version of the map when it is downloaded. Manually downloaded map tiles are not updated automatically. To get a new version of a manually downloaded map you need to delete it and download it again.
If the map is incorrect or out of date, first make sure you are looking at the latest version. You can report errors in the map to Kartverket here:
